My husband, my dad and I all used it and were comfortable carrying a lumpy toddler! I really liked the padded straps as they didn't cut into my shoulders and his weight was distributed really well. The ties were long enough to be able to tie comfortably with plenty left over. My son loved being in it too, so much so that he went and got it out himself one morning for us to carry him in! Great!
