I have used one of these slings since my son was 8 weeks old and it is still my most frequently used sling now he is almost 8 months (and I have a few :). It is good value for money and the shoulder straps are very wide which disperses the weight really well without moving and gives quite a firm carry. It feels a little bit stiff when you first try it due to the nature of the material, but it soon stretches and becomes more accommodating.
