The Hotslings is a pouch with one padded edge.

We have a Hotslings in our Sling Library which was kindly donated by Hotslings.

This pouch is ideal for nipping in to a shop etc. There is no tying or adjusting to be done, simply fold it in half, put it over your shoulder and put him in. It is quite comfortable to use, though as with any one-shouldered carrier, it isn’t the most comfortable option for a long period of carrying. The padded leg rail means that the fabric doesn’t dig in to his legs. These pouches are sized, so if you and your partner both wanted to use one, you may need to buy one each.

I have had a hotsling since my little one was born. He has loved every second – so much that he hated the carry cot section of his buggy. It has been ideal for dog walking, shopping and traveling without having to take a buggy. Practice does make perfect and size is crucial. Once I lost some baby weight I did buy another a size down which made all the difference.

It is more suited to hotter weather although you can put a larger coat on over the sling and the baby will fit when coated up.

For some one who doesn’t like buckles digging into my shoulder or the worry of a ring slipping this sling design really suits my lifestyle.
